Workflow & Tickets

Ticket Lifecycle

A clear workflow from check-in to closedEvery repair moves through a 14-status workflow, from Checked In to Closed, with required steps between stages so tickets don't skip diagnostics, approval, or quality control.

Why it matters

What it helps your shop do

Required steps between stages

Tickets can't advance until key work is recorded, such as diagnostic findings before a quote goes out and a quality check before pickup.

A record of every change

Status changes and edits are logged with who made them and when. Enterprise plans can review and export the full audit trail.

Role-based permissions

Owners, managers, front desk, technicians, and QC reviewers each get the actions their role needs.

How it works

Step by step

  1. Intake & triage

A new ticket is checked in, triaged, and assigned to a technician.

  2. Diagnostics & quoting

The technician records findings, and the customer gets a quote to approve from their portal link.

  3. Repair & QC

Once the quote is approved, the repair is done and goes through a required quality check.

  4. Pickup

The customer hears the device is ready, pays at pickup, and the ticket closes once the invoice is paid.
